I know what this is, and I hope no one else knows or what's the point!

I've seen this before - it's a secret box to stash valuables and hide them in the fridge.
I know, I know!! It's one of those safes that you hide you precious stuff in when you go and vacation! You just put your mock salad in the fridge and hope that the eventual thieves haven't been reading Designer's Block...
Looks like Lactuca sativa, but that would be just too easy...I haven't a clue!!
A fake ice berg lettuce stash box to put in your fridge.My cousin had something like that.Robbers came to her house.They stoled EVERYTHING, even the food in the fridge.
