Surrounded by Gorse
It doesn't matter which way I go out of my little Northumberland Hamlet I see Gorse Bushes. They are massive this year. This part of Northumberland has turned bright yellow. Daffodils are absolutely everywhere as I mentioned yesterday.
These bushes look beautiful but they are lethal as they are so spiky. Marauding Scots jumping over Hadrian's Wall must have been in for a shock if they landed on one of these.
Even the flowers I placed in my window boxes have come up trumps. Is there something in the air?
