Putting It Together - Moroccan
Ever since I started visiting Maryam at My Marrakesh I have a thing about Moroccan design. I want to dedicate this post to Maryam as she has had an awful time of it recently and I think she needs a bit of moral support.
Morocco is such a romantic place so you can't fail here if you want a room with a romantic atmosphere. Think silk, velvet, metal, bone and etched and cut silver, leather with spicy colours. YUM!
Silk Striped Low Sofa and Cushions, Heavily Carved Door, Tassled Lamp, Plum Velvet Pouf and Silver Teapot and Glasses from Just Morocco
Giant Etched Metal Platters for RE
Silver Threaded Pharmacy Jar and Metal Screen from Talisman Trading
Bone Inlaid Stool (OK it's Regency but it fits the look) from Graham and Green
Round Leather Table from Mosaik

Hey Di... great post today! I love Maryam and your Morocco board. You have a great eye for these things - they're beautiful!

Oh Di, thank you so much. You are so very sweet to think of me! And that couch is fabulous. It is covered with sabra, which is actually made of vegetable silk. You find it in the souks here and it can be custom ordered in any colors you wish!
Lovely Moroccan things and I had the great pleasure of meeting Maryam in Paris this week!
