Paris - Day 6 - Table Settings as Art

The French lay a great table, believe me. The French base a lot on appearances and the table is no exception. When my daughter sets the table for a meal she always makes it look so inviting and always includes a carafe of water and pretty glasses for water and wine all this always sits on a beautiful tablecloth.

The ceramics are most important and you just do not see bad ceramics here.
I love these collections from Antheor of France

I'm really enjoying my visit to paris through your eyes. We just read French "Women Don't Get Fat" in my bookclub and we all loved the whole set the table for every meal concept. They do seem to take beauty seriously. I love it. k

I'm loving your trip journal-rainy days and all! Your photographs are really good-real life sharing! Don't know how you're still doing your blogging-I think you're a bit of a super-woman.

Love this tableware-the earthy yet pastel colors are yummy!
