Paris - Day 1 - First Things First

Excited as I was that I was surrounded by the most beautiful furniture at the Foire Brocante et Jambon I was starving when I eventually got there. We had to go from the East side of Paris over to the West side on the train, which seemed to take an age. I had spent the morning visiting estate agents with my daughter and her friend as they are looking for a house to move into. That was fruitless and my feet were torturing me. We didn't get to the fair until 4pm and it shut at 7pm.

Back to eating - that in the picture is the sandwich, full of ham and roasted vegetables, that I tucked into on arrival. Of course it was accompanied by a cold glass of rose wine. It was amazing, a huge meal in a baguette.
