Just Two Fabulous Sunrooms

marston and langinger sunroomIt's no contest for me. I have a rooftop sunroom in my city house and I love it and maybe it's because I am nosey and can see more from there so I go for the top one from Marston and Langinger.
The bottom one is such a great way of creating a sunroom in a small space and is so simply decorated yet makes a huge statement. Sorry but I have no idea where I got this image it has been sitting on my computer for months just because I love it.

I had a problem getting your page to open because there were so many photos. The sunroom must be nice in winter, but how do you keep it from getting too hot in summer without resorting to air conditioning?

Congradulations on becoming a BLOG OF WORTH Di!
BTW I love that grouping of mixed framed pictures in the bottom one.
Only the British know how to do that well.

Definitely the first one...I love the more romantic and old world look of that one.....

Great use of the mirror in the 2nd one

yours truly - we have an industrial fan on the ceiling. As with any sunroom it can get hot and mine gets the sun from 10am - 6pm but hey this is England remember. Which page are you having problems with?

These are so inspirational. When I lived in Dublin, we had this wee sunroom with white cane furniture and cheerful yellow cushions (it was a furnished apt.) I LOVED that room, which everyone called a conservatory. These are fab. Thanks for the post, Di.

Yes we call them conservatories in the UK but I thought that might confuse people from over the pond.

I love England,
always a great pleasure to be there!
Especially in London.

I guess it's because of cloudy weather in England living the best
designers :O)

Good luck.

Alex.

Truth be told,
I'd be really happy to live in England.
But sometimes it's just imposible to do what you like to do.

See you.
