If you're ever in or around Edinburgh, Scotland take a little time out and visit or even stay at this fabulous hotel - Greywalls. Designed by Sir Edward Lutyens and overlooking the world famous Muirfield Golf Course this is architecture at its very best. The gardens were even designed by Gertrude Jekyll.
I stopped by years ago for Sunday Lunch and I can tell you it was amazing.
What I like about it most is that they just sit there being who they are and don't need to blow their own trumpet. The building and the gardens say it all. No one would expect it to be anything other than a great hotel.
