Why Re Is My Favourite Shop - RE Found Objects
Yesterday afternoon started badly. I went to Newcastle to meet Britt from Britt Arnhild's House in the Woods but I think she sent me someone else's text message canceling a meeting and I thought it was for me. Anyway I will sort that all out today. Not wanting to waste a 100 mile roundtrip I decided to go and photograph RE Found Object's shop in Corbridge. Now Corbridge is the epitome of an English Village and RE is tucked away behind a petrol station. That sounds awful but the area is fabulous.
The shop is a vast steel framed ex factory or something and houses the most amazing products mainly from France but some other European countries also and a collection from the third world.
Look at the amount of wonderful stuff. I go on overdrive when I am in there. Not everything is new as they have a fantastic selection of vintage items. I bought a beautiful old breadboard yesterday. I could go on forever but take a look yourselves. I took these pics and hope I have done it justice. Look at the full size greenhouse inside the shop full of amazing stuff.
The couple that own RE are fabulous, friendly and have impeccable taste. Now do you know why it is may all time favourite shop?
Some good news for you - they ship worldwide from their lovely website.

And how sad that your meet up with Britt hasn't worked out because of a misunderstanding.
So nice to find all my fellow blogging friends on your blog.
