This design team Studio Room 906 come up with some weird and wonderful ideas. Their site is worth a look but be patient as it takes a while to download but it is worth it, believe me. Now this idea worries me somewhat. When vacuuming does the rug part get sucked up. Whatever my doubts I think this looks pretty effective.
