Paris Flea Markets - Got There, It Was Finished But Then.....

Yesterday with all the best intentions I firstly tried to go and rummage through Charlotte's friends cellar but he was out for the day so that is now going to happen today (I hope). Then we went to Porte de Vanves to find some vintage items at the big flea market but that was almost packed up by the time we got there. So all in all yesterday resulted in NO VINTAGE FINDS.

We did however have the most amazing meal at a restaurant in the 15th district. My sister and brother-in-law and their 4 friends are staying in the district for the next few days so we met them for dinner last night. The 15th district is not very popular but I liked what I saw. The restaurant was called Le Gaulois at 59, Av. de la Motte-Picquet close to Metro station - La Motte-Picquet Grenelle, lines 8, 6 and 10 run into it. I can honestly say I had the best French meal ever last night and so did my fellow diners and it was only 22 Euros per head. It is one of those unspoiled restaurants that has never been changed in decades. Please try it if you are in Paris you won't be sorry.
