Fabriken Furillen - A Swedish Hideaway

Gotland – an alluring island with exciting historical sites and gorgeous natural environments, all close to the sea. Just a stone’s throw from the modern, high-tech world, and yet so exotic.

That's how the hotel describe the area. This hotel was built on an old lime quarry and is named Fabriken Furillen - Fabriken being the Swedish word for Factory.
I used to sell Gotland Sheepskin Rugs on wheredidyoubuythat.com, of which I have 4. They are fabulous not at all like the IKEA equivalent. Very, very expensive I know but I can throw them in the washing machine and they come up like new.
Back to the hotel. I can think of nothing better than being on a Swedish Island with lots of warm and comforting things around me. The hotel has some chalets in the grounds if you want to be even more secluded.
