Back in 1991 on my first ever visit to New York we were out strolling and decided to get some food to eat outdoors as it was a fabulous day. We came across a wonderful deli called Dean & Deluca I had to be dragged out of it as I just couldn't take my eyes off the displays of food. It became a favourite stop whenever I visited New York again. In February this year I visited the new store in what looked like an old market hall. I was not disappointed entirely but I do miss that old store.
I have just visited their site and found these lovely sweet items. The coloured sugars are fabulous and I could just eat one of those caramel apples. The Almonds in a Jar are from Sicily and the Three Little Pigs look good enough to eat and you can.
