National Trust Property Worth A Visit

This is a National Trust property that is well worth a visit if you happen to be in Northumberland. The gardens are in a quarry and are absolutely wonderful. There are many bright green mosses and ferns due to the deep shaded areas staying damp and sheltered.
Whenever I feel the need for some quiet this is a place I head for. The gardens are so peaceful.
The place is Belsay Hall in Belsay not far from Newcastle.
