Liverpool beat my city - Newcastle - in the bid for the City of Culture in 2008 and don't think I'm being a bad loser or anything but I think it's gone to their heads. The Liverpool buses have put instructions on the back of all their seats instructing the passengers in how to make origami items out of their bus tickets. WHAT!I shouldn't be bitter as my daughter and her husband and baby have just moved there and they tell me the city is thriving. OK!
