The Camargue - A French Secret

How many people do you know who go to The Camargue? It is in the South of France and is hardly ever mentioned as a place to spend a holiday. I've been there and it is fabulous. They grow black rice and there are wild white horses roaming all over the place.
We arrived in a seaside town on the day of a festival and it was a great surprise. The costumes on the men, women and children were Spanish in style and the horses were even done up to the nines.
If you are thinking of visiting the South of France give it a try I promise you will never have seen anything like it and it will be worth the trip.
