If like me you could look at Macaron all day long then you may agree with me that this shop, Theurel and Thomas in Mexico is the best shop in the world What better background than white to show these beauties to there best effect. Found at the ever fabulous Yatzer
I wish I had a £ for every time I shouted this at my kids. No excuses then with these drawers showing them exactly where they go. Designed by Peter Bristol via Dezeen
Last week I featured Caroline Groves and those fabulous handmade shoes. Well here is a video of her working. Also someone called Rosie left a comment on said feature leading me to another film which shows those actual shoes being worn.
Has anyone but me noticed how the French can make clutter look stylish? If I had this much stuff around my sink it would just look a mess. Found at Art Decoration
There was a time that you needed to have bought an Hermes scarf to obtain the book that taught you how to tie them. Now they have put their instructions online for the whole wide world. Well worth keeping.
I make no apologies for not liking art that confuses me. I want to look at an installation or a piece of art and be instantly gratified. I have no interest in what the artist is trying to tell me, it should be obvious. Myeongbeom Kim hits the spot
I am away for the day today but rather than leave you with nothing to read I thought I would lead you to our Newsletter. From Paris to the British Seaside and everything in between. ENJOY!
If I could I would place this outside the hospital we are having to have dealings with at the moment. I cannot praise the staff enough. This lovely idea is from 2 superb designer brothers Sam and Will Boex. Go and take a look at some more of their work.
I sent my May Newsletter/Magazine out the yesterday and have had some lovely emails from people saying how they love it. Go to the top of the class Di. No seriously thank you all you make it all worthwhile. Anyway I digress, one of the emails was from the the lovely Corine Gantz, she of Hidden in France. Well she has only gone and written a book called Hidden in Paris. A must read for me. Go take a look at her website for a a bit of an insight into the story and maybe buy one. Congratulations Corine and the very best of luck.
Those lovely people at Yatzer have gone and done it again. They have gained access to a fabulous Pilazzoi in Milan. The home and studio of Dimore Studio. Well I could just move in there, no bother.
I will never forget my first ever visit to New York. I was exhausted after taking a walk due to all the WALK DONT WALK signs at every junction, of which there are many. These genuine signs can be bought from Walk Dont Walk Signs in the UK. Note they don't have the ' in don't if you see what I mean.
Blogger had a problem today so yesterday's posts are lost in the mists of time. They may pop up again. Who's to know? By the way, they were very interesting. OH LOOK BELOW THEY ARE BACK!
I know I am always banging on about how inspired I can be by nature and tell everyone to Look Up well this time Look Down, underwater to be precise. This was the Winner of an Underwater Photography Competition.
