Living Where You Work
I am often asked what it is like to work in my own home. My reply is that I love it. Handy for the kettle and a lie down on the sofa when needs be. This home is East London is used by an artist and shows just how good it can look.
I am always surrounded by pieces of Ghost Furniture in progress and find it hugely inspiring to see my work any time I wish. Also because I love the pieces it's no problem to me to have them around.

How To Make Pretty Lights
These amazingly beautiful lights are so easy to make. Go to this blog - Kootoyoo - and get the oh so easy instructions.
Defying The Eye
Who would have the patience to knit a whole wall?
Effective and beautiful as it looks it is a major task.
The needles need to be huge let alone the size of the ball of wool but
It's wallpaper. Another very clever idea from Koziel in France.
I have just taken delivery and have used some of their products on a restaurant renovation I have been working on and let me tell you they are one of the most efficient companies I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.
Different Minds, Different Ideas
I love to see what other designers do with their finds when they are similar to mine. White Owl at Etsy
makes beautiful necklaces from these lace appliques whereas I
place them on chairs for Ghost Furniture.

HUB - Homemade, Unique and Beautiful
HUB is not just any old online shop. Each and every piece shows how carefully curated it is. Such as this gorgeous Sparrow Lamp,
these LOVE Pillow Cases,
These Porcelain Drops in different shapes and
I was delighted to discover that they are stockists of these fabulous Dutch House Cupboards that I have raved about on here previously.

Ask Terence Conran a Question
16th September 2010 will always be a very important date for me personally. I interviewed Sir Terence Conran, the man who changed shopping for the masses forever, the man who has influenced each and every one of us and now you can ask him a question.
Just leave your question here (in the comments section) and The Conran Shop and myself will choose 2 from the list to be put to Sir Terence. I will be posting a link to the Questions and Answers on the Conran Blog - Talking Shop - when they are ready.
Go on don't be shy, he is lovely, believe me.
I was a little shocked the other day to find myself on Youtube (that's a first) interviewing Sir Terence as part of a film done on the evening of the interview.

Oh! Fornasetti Frangrance
It doesn't get much better than this for me. Fornasetti have teamed with International Flavours and Fragrances to create these fabulous pieces. Not only do they look good but by golly they smell good.
Kelly Hoppen's iPhone App
It is no easy task to start to re-style a room. Sorting out all the stuff that's in your head to make it all come together can be a nightmare so I was happy to see that Kelly Hoppen has designed an iPhone App to make this task a much easier one. Loads of helpful tips from The Expert.

In The Lap of Luxury
My idea of a perfect evening. Wrapped in this fabulous Cashmere Robe, curled up on a sofa in a
candlelit room with a pile of
magazines in a stylish leather holder. All these luxury items are from Balmuir in Finand
I Like Tina Roeder
I love a designer who shows great care with their ideas. This bucket looks like a bucket but
is actually porcelain.
This cupboard must have taken an age to make and
the detail is stunning.
This chair has holes drilled into it and still
looks fabulous. All by Tina Roeder working out of Berlin.
