The spiral staircase in my cottage has a paint applied that always reminds me of double cream when I look at it. Our table and chairs made the room look dark so I decided to paint them the same as the stairs. It took me weeks to summon up the courage to paint this family heirloom but I am so pleased I did. Now when I look towards the kitchen it brightens my day.
I have no qualms when applying paint to my
Ghost Furniture pieces but this was in a different league altogether.
Your bravery paid off and so beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jan! I have some old pieces that could benefit from that, but I not as brave as you!
ReplyDeleteYour dining set looks so fabulous now! Love it!
ReplyDeleteVery nice now I want to paint mine. Maybe you could post some tips on how to and what kind of paint.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had your guts. I want to do this but I lack the nerve.
ReplyDeletePerfect! It matches beautifully now. You'll laugh, but I haven't even got the courage to paint my IKEA furniture...
