We will have our topping out ceremony this week when the last ridge tile is put on the roof . Then the fun starts as the wall adjoining our old cottage with the new part has to be knocked out upstairs and down. No kitchen, half a bathroom and lots of muck.
The builders - Mick, Pedro, Gavin and Chris will be served with cold beers and bacon sandwiches to celebrate. Well Done Boys!
Let me say one last thing - these builders have, as we say in North East England, not been a pick of bother.
This seem to go so fast! I hope to see the decorated interior soon.
