It's no contest for me. I have a rooftop sunroom in my city house and I love it and maybe it's because I am nosey and can see more from there so I go for the top one from Marston and Langinger.
The bottom one is such a great way of creating a sunroom in a small space and is so simply decorated yet makes a huge statement. Sorry but I have no idea where I got this image it has been sitting on my computer for months just because I love it.
Anthologie Quartet are, in my mind, one of the best design companies in Germany today.
These fabulous pieces are so beautifully made and they seem to be able to do both simple and detailed design equally well.

Here's a new company opened on
Saville Row in London. The old traditionalists there must be horrified. Social Suicide (great name) have come up with traditional men's suits but with a huge twist.
I showed them to Harvey, my partner, and I cannot begin to describe to the look of horror on his face but I love them - come on you guys be daring and different for a change and it's not SO bad as the trousers and waistcoats are plain. I love that subtle detail on the white shirt.

I've discovered a fabulous Swedish online store that ships all over the world FREE! Not only that but the clothes are fabulous.
Branten specialise in fashion that is different and each and every item here is ME. I want them all and I intend having them all very soon. I will have to go now and have a coffee and calm down.
I've featured this girl before. Caterina M has a Flickr page and an Etsy Shop but the Etsy shop never has anything for sale when I go over.
I am sure this girl could make a killing if she made these products available on her own online store. They are THE best thing I have ever seen on Etsy and her photography is exemplary.
The Monogrammed fabric was done by her Grandmother so you can see where she gets her talent from.

Now I don't pretend to understand anything that is printed on these items but I do like them a lot. Creativando from Italy have a theme running through their designs but it's not overpowering. Little poems on vases and beautiful Italian phrases on chopping boards shaped like knives and even beautiful luggage and furniture.
By the way the white thing that looks like a book with a curled up end is a breakfast tray for your lap and you can put things inside it.
I love Italian designs like this.

Galler Chocolatiers do the BEST packaging and the stuff inside isn't half bad either. Love the cleavage and corset and the chocolate sticks with little pots of spices to dip them in.

Firstly, whoever posted a pink sofa from Ochre yesterday I want to apologise to. I cannot for the life of me remember who you were.
Secondly, it made me visit the Ochre site and WOW look what I found, even more pink furniture but not bright pink just lovely muted shades that remind me of the face powder my mother use to use when I was little.

If I haven't got my glasses on I can't read it and in the dark it's impossible anyway.

No Design in Essen, Germany have put old tyres to good use by making them into bowls and magazine holders. I won't link you to their site as it doesn't do anything.

Bility is an Icelandic company and I love what they are doing to shelving. A totally new approach by reflecting the pattern onto the wall.
Well, I wonder what Philippe Starck will think of this.
Somebody somewhere sits and thinks this stuff up. WHY? It would take longer to clean them than to clean the house.

These two bathrooms featured in Marie Claire Maison just made me want to rip my clothes off and dive in. What I wouldn't give to have a bathroom with such high ceilings.
In the summer we are planning to take the ceilings out of our cottage upper floor and expose the beams so maybe I will get my wish then.

This site Craft2eu has the most amazing stuff I could just browse for hours.
These items from Side by Side are delightful.
Firstly the napkins and chalkboard rings come with a white pencil and even a sponge for rubbing of your little endevours at artwork.
Secondly those hugely clever chopsticks that look like clothes pegs. No more dribbling noodles down your chin.
This may not be the prettiest house warming present but it's certainly more use than a bunch of flowers when you first move into a house. I wouldn't say no to one.

These bags from Vlieger and Vandam of Rotterdam are awesome. I love the embellishments. The tan one has three pockets on the front for glasses, music player and tickets. No more fishing around inside the bag.
Great designs and one of their designs - The Guardian Angel Bag - like the gun bag but with a knife embellishment - is now in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Whenever I send a parcel in the post I love to wrap it beautifully but then when I put the brown paper and tape on to send it it somehow loses all that glamour. No more!
This is Zip Tape from NPW in the UK. If only you could unzip the parcel as I hate trying to tear that tape off.
